Abbie Vincent's best friend Samantha Patterson is getting married and Abbie is taking her duties as chief bridesmaid very seriously. She is utterly determined that the wedding will go off without any hitches, but with Sams good-intentioned yet overbearing parents, obnoxious teenage sister, and tantrum-prone nephew to keep in check, disaster is only a heartbeat away. The bride is supposed to be the nervous one before the wedding, but unlucky-in-love Abbie is walking on egg shells lest anything go wrong and ruin Sams special day; shes even willing to put her lack of faith in romance to the side.
