This book is lovely. Its the first one I read in this series (although I think it is also the last). Its about a dragon who lives in cornwall, was around in the time of King Arthur and goes on holiday and stays in the harbour next to all the boats.
He doesn't breathe fire but green smoke and loves buns. He buys an African Grey Parrot, foils a crime and helps host a party.

It's a fantasy story and could be described as a bit twee but I loved it and still do
