Nazia is a good daughter. She dutifully obeys her parents, adores her father, excels at school, and accepts without question her destiny in life: to leave Karachi and marry her cousin. But all that shes ever knownand all thats ever been expected of hercomes crashing down when she gets pulled out of school to work as a house servant.
