The Forums are a musical English family living at a house called Apple Bough. Eight-year-old Sebastian is discovered to be a child violin prodigy -- so the parents take the whole family on a lengthy world concert tour for him. Over time, the three other children become weary of the travelling and want a home and careers of their own. After a visit back to England, they start to plan "Operation Home."
