It chronicles the tale of a new air force(PAF) as seen through the eyes of one of its illustrious airmen and pioneers. Group Captain M A Rabbani retired from the PAF in 1966. During his career, he held many field commands and served as Flying Instructor at the three flying training schools in India before partition. He served as Chief Flying Instructor(CFI) and Chief Instructor at PAF College, Risalpur. He had the rare distinction of commanding five bases of Pakistan Air Force. In a singular honor reserved for the very few, he served as the first air ADC to the founder of the nation and the first Governor General of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He also served as Air Attache in Washington DC and Air Adviser in Canada. He was awarded 'Legion of Merit' by the government of the United States Of America.
